David C. Ganow
Senior Analog Engineer

David Ganow has over 15 years of RF/Microwave design experience in addition to analog and digital circuit design experience in developing products for medium to high volume manufacture.

Experience

  • David C. Ganow Consulting Engineer
    Project Manager/RF Designer

    Lead development team in the design of 50 watt mobile LTR radio. Developed high gain instrumentation amplifier compliant with FCC and European CE standards.

  • Preschutti & Associates, Inc.
    Senior Design Engineer

    Project leader and RF design engineer for Land Mobile Radio. Project leader for a SONET video transport system. Responsible for RF circuit design, A/D conversion of the video signal and the conversion of the digital data to SONET STS-3c format. Hardware designer for eight bit micro controller TCP/IP Internet link.

  • Maxon America, Inc.
    Hardware Design Engineer

    Project leader for SM 150 and SM 350 UHF and VHF Land Mobile Radios. Designs included 45 Watt UHF and VHF transmitters, RF and audio filters, T/R switch and ALC circuit.

  • C-COR Electronics, Inc.
    Senior RF Design Engineer

    Designed RF amplifiers for the CATV industry. Designs include duplex filters, highpass and lowpass filters, interstage gain control (IGC) circuits, Automatic Level Control (ALC) circuits and RF detector circuits with alarm for loss of RF signal.

  • Allied Signal, Inc.
    Senior Engineer

    Responsible for design, development and manufacturing of RF hybrid circuits. Circuit designs include VHF and UHF class C transmitters, ranging in power from 100mW to 10 Watts using AM or FM modulation; UHF class A low noise receiver amplifiers; low power Local Oscillators; mixers and T/R switches.
